Jack Davidson Shines with Triple Trophy Haul at Brands Hatch
Team: Lux Motorsport | Championship: NASCAR Euro Series
After an unpredictable start to the 2025 NASCAR Euro Series, Jack Davidson bounced back in emphatic style at Brands Hatch, securing three trophies and making a clear statement in the EuroNASCAR PRO class. Racing with Lux Motorsport, the young Scottish driver showed poise, pace, and grit in a weekend that exceeded expectations and reaffirmed his front-running potential.
Heading into Brands Hatch, Jack kept things simple.
“I didn’t really have a game plan,” he admits. “I just wanted to be up front and fighting for podiums, and to be fair, that weekend proved we could do exactly that.”
With little pressure and a clear mindset, Jack let his driving do the talking. And it paid off.
Turning the Page After Recent Setbacks
Lux Motorsport has had a run of bad luck recently, but that didn’t dampen Jack’s trust in the team.
“We’ve had a few unfortunate weekends, one of them my own mistake, but I trust Simon and the mechanics with my life. They’ve had time to go through the car properly, so I knew we’d come into this round strong. I didn’t expect any issues.”
That confidence showed throughout the weekend, with the car performing flawlessly in a demanding field.
Drawing Confidence from the Past
Having won at Brands Hatch last year, Jack brought some positive momentum into this year's event, despite stepping up to the more competitive PRO class.
“Winning at this track before definitely gave me a confidence boost. Obviously, it’s a tougher field now, so I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but I think we handled it really well.”
Three Trophies and a Weekend to Remember
Jack walked away from Brands Hatch with three trophies: a win in the Junior class, and an impressive P3 overall finish.
“I try not to set expectations going into a weekend. I just take it race by race, but yeah, I’m really pleased with how it turned out. Three trophies is brilliant.”
It wasn’t just a strong result, it was a milestone in Jack’s NASCAR Euro Series journey.
Smart Prep Makes the Difference
Preparation for the weekend was meticulous. Jack and the team tested the Friday before the race, ironing out the car’s setup and dialling things in ahead of the main event.
“That test day really helped. We made some small tweaks during the weekend, but the car was already in a great place. Plus, I put a lot of time on the sim before and after the test day to make sure I had the lines nailed.”
It’s a combination of real-world experience and simulator precision that continues to give Jack an edge.
Eyes on the Horizon After Summer Break
With the mid-season round at Venray now cancelled, Jack heads into an 11-week summer break before the championship resumes at Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic.
“It’s a long break now, but I’ll be keeping sharp on the sim, putting in plenty of laps around Most. After a weekend like this, I can’t wait to get back in the car.”
