Decided to go the full hog and bought a full sim racing set up. For GT and Rally. I've bought a few items from GT Omega recently and can highly recommend them. Fantastic, speedy service. Always well packaged and they have loyalty points so, that's a bonus. I will use them again in the future. I upgraded from the R5 bundle. I don't use a lot of ffb gain but the difference in road feel and all details is much better.

MOZA R9 V3 base is enough for me, I don't use the full 9 Nm, I turned it down to 70 percent so I'm running about 6.5 Nm, this is my first direct drive base, coming from the Thrustmaster Tx base is like night and day, I'm Sim racing on Xbox but plan to upgrade to a gaming PC, in the last 3 months I bought the GT OMEGA prime lite cockpit and the INERTIA bucket seat, Moza R9 V3 base, ESX wheel, formula wheel mod and CRP2 pedals all from GT OMEGA, price and delivery was bang on that's why they are my first choice to go to first, would definitely recommend GT OMEGA

I was very surprised at the size of this base after having my TS-PC Racer for nearly 10 years it looks dinky but don't let the looks fool you this is a great base. Apart from the base looking really good it works fantastic too, i am picking up road/kerb feelings i never got with my Thrustmaster and i have caught many slides on track that i never could have with my old base. The Moza software (Pithouse) is very good from what i can see but i understand very little at the moment so it's a learning curve. The default settings out of the box are a good start. All in all i would recommend the Moza ecosystem to anyone serious about their driving.

Awesome bit of kit! Upgraded from a TS-XW and the R9 is in a different class. Moving to direct drive is something I'd wanted to do for a while and this was the perfect upgrade. Powerful and detailed FFB that you can tune perfectly with the Pit House software. The Moza quick release system is so good! Excellent value for money. Well chuffed with it.

Moza R9 base feels amazing. It is my first sim racing setup and I am happy I went with that base. Testing other brands and non-dd wheels affirmed my decision to buy it based on reviews. It is a truly immersive experience. There are various settings online that I used as a starting ground so it is nice knowing there are community-shared guides to quickly configure the wheel and experience it at its best.

The R9, WOW dont be fooled by the diminutive size of this industrial grade wheel base i have had to reduce the force feed back in game and would higly recomend the E-stop switch accessory, silent and cool in action with all the detail you could wish for class leading quick release, rock solid wheel connection, smooth in action,The MOZA Pit House software is excellent allowing you to setup just the force feedback details you require also the wheel rotation ratio ie gt3 cars or go karts . the icing on the cake is you can customise the settings to suit the idividual cars in game then save any preset as a j.son file either on PC or in the Mobile app so you dont have to compromise ,also you can alter the force feedback during a game via the app which is a great feature for fine tuning 5*product and 5* service from the guys at GT OMEGA rapid next day delivery.

The Moza R9 wheelbase is, in my opinion, the best bang for your buck wheelbase on the market. I've been using mine for around 4-5 months now and have had nothing but positive things to say about it to my fellow sim racing friends. I upgraded to it from a G29 and the difference is palpable. There is more than enough power here for 90% of sim racers and the level of detail in the feedback is more than enough to be able to understand what your car is doing. You can feel everything you need too. It makes my G29 look and feel like a toy! In terms of build quality, this thing is a tank. It's heavy. There were no defects of any kind on arrival and the thing has sat on my rig without any issues whatsoever. Everything that is supplied with it is also top quality, the cables are good and thick and the power supply is a beefy monstrosity of a thing. Packaging wise, Moza have not cut back to save costs. The R9 comes in a chunky box and is sat snuggly in some very high quality foam. It comes with a dust proof bag and all the peripherals are nicely packed as well. Instructions are clear and concise and you get a nice pack of good quality stickers too. So, what about the user experience. As stated above, the R9 is more than powerful enough for most users and provides ample detail too. Despite it being a weighty bit of kit, it's not huge and will happily sit on most rigs without issue. The included software is more than capable of setting the base up to how you like it though may not be the most intuitive software ever. You'll need to have a play to get it where you want it though there are plenty of videos and guides to help with this. Overall, I'm more than happy with the R9 and it has helped me improve my sim racing significantly due to the increase in detail I can feel. I don't think you can get better for the money on the market. Yes, you can look at Fanatec's 8NM offering but it's significantly more expensive and I don't think justifiable considering you can't get similar quality rims and you lock yourself into their ecosystem. Essentially, if you are looking to get into sim racing or thinking about upgrading to a DD wheel but don't want to blow your bank account to pieces, this is an absolute must to consider.

The MOZA GS wheel and R9 is a great combination for the money. I’m coming from a CSL DD pro with boost kit and the price is comparable. The wheel is itself is a massive jump up from the cheap feeling GT rim and and while 1nm extra peak torque doesn’t look like much on paper the extra headroom is there to feel on track. The MOZA R9 takes a bit more tweaking to get setup but I honestly believe it’s a better feeling wheelbase with the latest 1.2.0.50 Pit House software and with the latest motor firmware. It does oscillate a bit more than the Fanatec does but only when you remove your hands of the wheel completely and only in certain games. Also a first rate service gtomega. Shipped quickly!

The R9 offers fantastic immersion and detailed feedback. Its my first wheel base from Moza, probably an R5 would have been the better option in terms of cost however i wanted to futureproof my purchase. With a wide selection of wheel bases out there Moza are certainly a huge contender. Absolutely love the R9, it can get warm after some use but personally it hasnt been an issue to touch afterwards.

It’s small, quiet, and insanely powerful for its size. The force feedback is super smooth and detailed — you can feel every bump, curb, and slip without any harsh jolts. It’s got that perfect balance of strength and precision. I’m running it with the GS V2P wheel, and the combo feels absolutely spot on. The quick release is rock solid and makes swapping wheels effortless. It stays cool even during long sessions, and the aluminium body feels premium and built to last. Setup through Moza Pit House was really simple too, and tuning the FFB settings was straightforward. Once dialled in, it feels brilliant in games like F1 25 and iRacing. Honestly can’t fault it — quiet, powerful, reliable, and looks great on the rig. If you want direct drive performance without needing a huge base, the R9 V3 is perfect.
