About Us

GT Omega was founded in 2009 in Glasgow, Scotland, with a simple mission: to make high quality sim racing gear accessible and affordable. What started as a small operation packing boxes in garages has grown to become the UK’s leading sim racing brand, now shipping to over 40 countries worldwide.

In 2012, we took our expertise to the wider gaming community by launching a range of gaming chairs, bringing GT Omega into the mainstream gaming space. These chairs also opened the door to the event world, where we’ve provided over fifteen hundred chairs to major gaming events, including Eurogamer and Insomnia.

Our innovation and partnerships continued in 2016 when we launched our first licensed product, a PRO Series chair in collaboration with the SIDEMEN YouTuber Collective. Thesuccess of this has led to us forming partnerships with major brands such as Celtic Football Club, Sneak Energy and even alongside Crunchyroll and TOHO with our “My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission” collection.

As home working became more common, we launched our “Omeganomic” brand in 2024, offering premium adjustable desks, ergonomic office chairs and other home office equipment. Our knowledge and understanding of ergonomics have been critical for the development of this newrange.

While we have expanded into new frontiers, our rootsremain firmly in sim racing. We continue to develop new cockpits, wheel stands, and accessories. We have also formed some incredible partnerships with leading brands like MOZA Racing (winning their “Partner of the Year in 2024) andAsetekSimSports, ensuring our customers have everything they need for the ultimate sim racing experience.

Supporting the sim racing community is at the heart of what we do. Over the years, we’ve sponsored racing leagues, professional drivers, esports competitors, and content creators, forging partnerships with sim racing icons like Jardier, Jimmy Broadbent, and rising NASCAR star Jack Davidson. We’ve even hosted our own online, sim racing league: The Challenger Cup!

We’ve come a long way from the garage, but the journey is far from over.
