I was searching for "racing wheel mounts" on Amazon came across the GT Omega. Read the reviews and liked the price. Purchased it and have zero regrets. Build quality is solid and it's perfectly suited to my needs and then some. I mounted a HOTAS using the shifter mount V2, hench the reason I purchased another mount, one for the throttle, and one for the stick. That is some awesome versatility.

The shifter mount is surprisingly solid with no flex and comfortably holding both my shifter and handbrake. However the design is flawed in that it is positioned too short and too high to use comfortably with a shifter or handbrake. It is not adjustable and sits at the same level as the wheel instead of way below it. The handbrake would normally be positioned in the LHS of the gear shifter (in Australia) but I can't reach it (despite being 6 ft) so I had no option but to put in on the RHS. I can just reach the gear shifter.

This V2 mount came with my GT Omega Apex stand. I was worried that my TSS Handbrake plus TH8A shifter wouldn't fit but they do! The shifter mounts on the inside, closet to the wheel on two of the holes meant for the TH8A shifter and then the shifter itself goes on the outside of the mounting plate connected to the other two holes.
Everything is snug and doesn't move around at all.

Bought the stand from Amazon, was very happy to find I could buy accessories directly.
It would be nice to have the option to extend the brackets further out, as you can see in my photo, I made some wooden pieces to secure the HOTAS to the stand, to bring the Stick far enough back. I tried the included V1 shifter mount at first, but it came out too far, and even shortening the lower arm so it went further back in, I found it uncomfortable as it stopped my chair going far enough forward, and dug into my leg. This would have worked better for me if I could have attached it out to the side 90 degrees and raised it up a bit more than the slider allows.

GT Omega products are good quality, easy to assemble and priced well. I have the Classic wheel stand which came with 2 different gear shifter mounts and use the V2 which is awesome. I purchased a second so I can have one either side for flight controllers. At the moment I have the 2nd plate mounted beside the original V2 mount and have a flight stick mounted beside my shifter for Farming Simulator! I highly recommend GT Omega products, excellent quality and very versatile.

This is Fantastic.
I have Glass Desk and I wanted to get back into gaming. this is a very strong adjustable stand.
This was made very well and offers so much versatility from storage to add-on parts to expand, as I have.
I have owned this for a year with not hint of issue. it has allowed me to do so much. it switches from racecar to SpaceShip with logitect-x56,Momo steering to ch-products for flight.

Got the frame and was very pleased as didn't have a central bar which a lot have so easier for driving. Got the v2 attachment as he got the tractor control panel for Christmas. Very pleased with product, except the fact it took ages for it to be in stock, glad I signed up to email notification

I've bought 2 of these this year (2021) for my GT Classic Wheel Stand which I bought in 2019 and it came with one of the older versions, I've put a SimRacing4U Button box on the right side one and it looks great and the left side has my gear shifter. Really pleased with them both. Strongly built and great design, comes with all the bolts you'd ever need and the tools to put it on your stand too. Top marks.

I got a second hand GT Omega Apex from a friend but it was missing the shifter mount plate. The Apex shifter mount was out of stock so I ordered the Classic hoping it would be compatible. Thankfully it is.

TL:DR great service, exceeded expectations
I bought the classic steering wheel mount via Amazon last year. I wanted something for my hotas that I could quickly set up and dismantle. I was really impressed with the build quality and the product really exceeded my expectations.
Anyone who is into simming will always be looking to improve their rig. I decided my set-up would work better with the hotas being set more symmetrically so I ordered a second gear stick plate direct from Omega. Basically I have the throttle mounted to the left and the stick on the right. Anyway, well done for sticking with this so far. My order was delivered promptly as we would expect these days. The contents really exceeded my expectations. Not only did they send the plate and mounting bracket, a full set of nuts and bolts and tools. They also sent loads of spare nuts/bolts, tools and cable management velcro for the whole set-up. I think this shows this is a quality company that offers a quality product. You know that once you have bought the product you will have the back-up and customer service to ensure that you have many years of use from the product.
Well done Omega GT for going the extra mile and exceeding expectations. It's reassuring to know that companies still have the ethos of quality and service. I will have no hesitation recommending you, indeed I already have done so in the Elite Dangerous community.

Have owned a steering rig for a while now and needed to wait until the gear attachment came into stock. Really pleased with that purchase, it is well made and comes with multiple fixings, good value I would say. The only issue is the instructions for both the steering rig and the gear attachment are very poor. Managed to figure it out with the help of some you tube videos and other resources but not ideal.

Added to my wheel stand without any problems and it feels pretty sturdy. Looks like the shifters will be well positioned if mounted with a table top type clamp, if you sit the shifter on top of the plate it will probably be to high and to far away to be comfortable/natural.
No regrets, just need to find a shifter I like to mount on it.

I purchased this because I was converting the classic wheelstand to a ful rig, so was losing the shifter stand I had been using. This bracket gives a more stable platform for mounting the shifter, and is positioned well in relation to the wheel.
I'd recommended this for anyone using the classic wheelstand with shifter. It's a much better way to mount the shifter than the regular stand especially if you use the Shifter box instead of the paddles to change gear. The original stands would flex and move around a bit, this bracket is solid and placed well to get to it and your hand back on the wheel in no time. And it can be mounted to both sides of the stand with no issues.
If I'm completely honest, personally I would like a small amount of adjustability, I always set my shifter a little lower that this bracket's mounting position, but it's nothing that has causes any negative effects.
