NASCAR Euro Series Round 4: Action-Packed Weekend at Autodrom Most

The NASCAR Euro Series headed to the Czech Republic for Round 4 at Autodrom Most, where changeable weather played a key role in shaping the weekend.

Friday’s practice sessions were held in wet conditions, offering a first test of pace on the slippery circuit. Jack impressed early, setting the fourth-fastest time and demonstrating strong confidence in the car despite the challenging track surface. By the time qualifying arrived, conditions had improved and the field faced a much drier Autodrom Most. Jack advanced into Superpole and ultimately secured seventh on the grid for Saturday’s opening race.

Race 1 delivered its share of drama from the start. Contact at Turn 2 forced Jack wide, costing several positions in the opening laps. Settling into a steady rhythm, he began to recover places through a series of measured overtakes. After 17 laps of hard-fought racing, he crossed the line in eighth position. Post-race penalties for the car ahead promoted him to seventh, marking a positive result to begin the weekend.

Sunday’s Race 2 proved to be even more eventful. Starting from ninth on the grid, Jack once again found himself at the mercy of Turn 2, this time having to take evasive action to avoid a major incident. The maneuver dropped him outside the top 15, but he responded with a determined comeback drive, steadily climbing back through the order. His progress was cut short, however, when a throttle cable failure forced an early retirement and ended hopes of a second points-scoring finish.

Despite the setback in Race 2, the Czech round highlighted encouraging speed in both wet and dry conditions. A place in Superpole and a top-seven finish underline the momentum being built, with the promise of more strong results as the NASCAR Euro Series season continues.
