Avoid - the website is misleading! These pistons do NOT fit older chairs (mine is under 6 years old). Having fitted the piston to my chair I discovered the design had changed and even the largest piston currently supplied is no longer fit for purpose. I then had an email exchange with their (truly abysmal) customer service representative, Conor, who didn't appear to even understand the issue. Eventually I gave up on having any sort of intelligent discussion on the topic with that particular individual. Instead, I looked on the reviews section, and there they were - review after review from other customers like me, who had come to the manufacturer expecting a like-for-like replacement piston, and had been sold something that was much shorter than their original, without a tapered base (which makes it even shorter), and therefore not fit for for use with their chairs. The website should make that crystal clear, to avoid so many dissatisfied customers and negative reviews such as this. And why the extremely unhelpful Conor couldn't have explained all that is beyond me - not sure whether it's lack of intellect, lack of experience, or just plain bad attitude. Either way, the guy is clearly in the wrong job! Piston has been returned and have ordered an alternative from Amazon.

Best Avoided, Do Not Buy. Bought the Regular Sized strut. Strut is noticeably shorter than original, roughly 50mm shorter. Seeing the original is on the short side anyway, this seemed odd. When questioned it with their support, was told that this was by design for children. Not sure I understand this decision, the chair is now clearly too short to use by any average height adult, male or female. Now looking elsewhere for a proper sized replacement strut and then this one can go in the scrap heap.

Look elsewhere. A replacement strut ordered and arrived shortly after. Fitted to chair to find its even shorter than the original one. Having bought the Regular sized strut, confirmed with their support, who confirmed that these are now purposefully shorter, making them utterly useless for anyone over 5' tall. The original was already on the short size, these replacements are uselessly short. Check the dimensions before ordering!

Don’t buy, bought to replace my old piston as I couldn’t remove it from the tilt mechanism, I bought the regular size and compared to the old one it goes about half as high, so unless your desk is on the ground it’s a waste of time buying just look online for a higher alternative.

I bought the Regular Piston it turned up and i replaced my old piston from my GT Omega Racing chair and it doesn't extend as much as the old piston, i emailed support to make sure they sent the correct one to be told that the suppliers have changed and thats what they are now, so i either have to stick with a piston that slowly deflates, or sit in my chair looking up at everything on my desk

Replaced the original gas strut from my Pro bought in 2016, although it fits, it is shorter than the original meaning the chair has a much lower maximum height. Aside from that it works fine. I did also need to buy a replacement tilt mechanism as the original strut couldn’t be removed, and had also stretched/warped over time so it was a bit slack and noisy.
