Brilliant cockpit for a brilliant price i have a simagic alpha evo pro with 18nm of torque and it’s super sturdy no flex whatsoever

After years of using a GT Omega wheel stand with an old office chair I decided to buy a full cockpit. I stupidly bought a no name branded cockpit because it was cheap. This was a huge mistake as not only did nothing fit together properly as I was building it. Then after only three months the captive nuts in the base where the feet fitted burst through so it was rocking and vibrating.
So I decided to cut my losses and bought the Omega Prime Lite on Christmas day as the price was very attractive due to it being in the sales.
It arrived on the following Wednesday (super quick delivery thanks) and was a doddle to build due to everything fitting together perfectly.
I didn't need to modify (drill) any new holes to fit my wheel, pedals and shifters (unlike the old rig). I had my own seat and that too fitted without any modification.
Once everything was loosely bolted together it was a simple task to adjust it to my liking and I settled down to my first race.
What a revelation ! Whereas my old rig used to flex, creak and rattle there was ZERO flex or vibrations which means there's more feeling and better control.
All in all, I strongly recommend the Omega Prime Lite, it's a no brainer if you're serious about driving / racing games !

I am very satisfied with the PRIME Lite Cockpit. The product is solid, well-built, and fully functional, exactly as described. The overall quality gives a great sense of durability and reliability.
I would also like to highlight the excellent customer support. I had a positive experience with the support team, who quickly helped me resolve an issue related to additional documents requested by the courier for customs clearance. Their assistance was fast and efficient, making the whole process smooth and stress-free.
Highly recommended.

I finally decided to take the plunge and buy the GT Omega Prime Lite Aluminium profile setup. After much consideration between the prime and prime lite I decided the prime lite would be fine for what I need especially after having a light weight rig which I have used for the last 3/4 years and that wasn’t aluminium profile.
There is absolutely no flex in the rig and what so ever and the flexibility the setup gives you is amazing.
As I have a Asetek Forte wheelbase I decided to buy the Asetek forte front mount plate as it specific places for the buttons. I was a bit concerned that this would weaken the rig however it’s just as sturdy. GT omega do, do a front mount to.
The only thing I’m not a fan of is the pedal plate. But this is a me problem as I have VRS pedals and they don’t come with a pedal base plate that you mount them to.
So when I mounted the pedals to the GT Omega pedal plate I did end up drilling a couple of holes. But this was for my own personal preference and setting out.
Overall I’d recommend this rig to anyone thinking about getting into sim racing or looking to upgrade from a lighter weight rig.
Value for money is brilliant, I can’t really imagine ever needing to upgrade to the prime version in the future.

My first cockpit. Looks very nice and have good adjustments options. Solid construction. Assembly took around two hours.
Felt immediate difference after my table setup. One of the best purchases for simracing I've made.
Yuriy S.5/5Verified
Great cockpit. It is rock solid. Unfortunately it dos not take only 2h to assembly as it is said in the manual. You lost a lot of time to customize to your liking and fit your preferred driving position. It took me 4h total + the time to assembly the seat (which I bought from another place). However, it is Worth. It is just perfect, no flex at all. On top of that, the rig being an aluminum profile allows you to feel the vibration provided by the trueforce (Logitech wheel) on your feet, which is amazing and adds up to the immersion. I am really satisfied with the purchase.

Overall very happy with it going to be looking to get another side and mat next then fit the tripple screen mount soon
Mr L.5/5Verified
Wow, such a great deal. Nice quality, finish look awesome and quite no flex at all with 12Nm.
My only little issue is that I had to make my own pedal plate to mount my 3 pieces on it. Base was not compatible with my pedals (which I believed were like generic mounts?) in particular with 3 pieces kit. I have mounted a 10mm shelf woodplate on the metal plate and screwed the pedals on it. No flex no problem at all works like a charm.
Thanks for the FAST AF shipping, it arrived in France in like 4-5 business days.
Too bad the single screen mount wasn't available anymore. Will recommend 💯

Simagic Alpha Evo Pro and P1000 Pedals. Assembly was simple and the product is very rigid even running higher FFB settings. Highly recommend the Prime Lite!

I started my sim racing journey last October, initially setting up on a Playseat Challenge. Don't get me wrong, the Playseat is a noble gateway drug, but after a few months, I felt like I was trying to hit apexes while strapped into a glorified, vibrating deckchair. Every heavy braking zone felt like an unfolding origami experiment.
Upgrading to the GT Omega Prime Lite has been an absolute revelation.
This thing is built like a tank. It’s a solid piece of aluminium profile engineering that has completely eliminated the flex I used to just accept as part of life. There is zero creaking, zero wobbling, and it completely handles proper force feedback without breaking a sweat. It honestly feels like it could survive a nuclear blast, or at least a catastrophic T1 pile-up at Monza.
The RS12 seat is a massive step up. With my old seat, anything past a 30-minute stint meant I needed a crane and a chiropractor to get out of it. The RS12 actually supports your back, looks proper sharp, and keeps you securely planted when you're fighting for traction.
If you are still racing on a wheel stand or a foldable rig and wondering if a proper profile cockpit is worth the coin—stop overthinking it. The Prime Lite is the perfect sweet spot of footprint, absolute sturdiness, and value. I went from feeling like I was driving a camping accessory to feeling like I’m sitting in a genuine race car. 10/10, highly recommended.

The Prime light is an upgrade from my classic wheels stand, support legs, rear frame and rsxl seat.
What an upgrade it is
I run a Thrustmaster T598 wheel base Evo 32R and an SF100 wheel. TH8 shifter. Simnet sp pro pedals with the hydro link add on and haptics on all pedals. A simnet handbrake also with a hydro link add on.
Another great addition is the Corsair edge which I run a dash on and a virtual stream deck as a button box.
Really happy with the set up especially the Prime lite
Jason B.5/5Verified
Excellent customer service, sent extra bits to me quickly upon not having a sufficient qty of angled brakets.
Fit and finish also excellent, very pleased overall, at a decent price.
Thomas F.5/5Verified
Very top level!

Gone is the backache, knee pain and all other aches, being on the elder side this is paramount to my enjoyment of sim racing, 65 years old, the adjustability of the whole setup makes it very easy to get right.
Quality product, much better than expected in every way.

What an awsome cockpit. super rigid, paired with the Moza R12 v2. Highly configurable and adjustable, I’ve added a few extras such as the adjustable pedal deck and floor plate. I race mainly GT3 and I’ve dialled in my position. I’ve also added a button box and a phone holder and drinks holder too. The aluminium profile is excellent for future upgrades and endless additions. Casters are a must for moving the rig around for cleaning! I’m super happy with the Prime Lite cockpit! 🖤🖤

When I’ve put my Logitech G RS50 8nm setup together on the Prime Lite Cockpit rig, I’m loving the support with the frame around me and the Zeyphr RS12 bucket seat I have mounted on my rig. Worth an upgrade from a foldable rig 👍🏻
Daniel C.5/5Verified
Cockpit turned up quite quickly and was in two separate deliveries which worried me at first, as i expected certain parts to be with the first pack, but it all ended up delivered complete.
Customer services were extremely helpful through the process

Nice Sim Rig! A little bit of work to build but it is worth it! Love it!
Clemens K.5/5Verified
Wanted to build a fairly compact setup, that is rigid. GTOmega Prime Lite has everything necessary, even for a DIY setup. I didn't go by the manual. I had purchased two of Titan adjustable pedal plate sets earlier and wanted to accommodate my rig build to fit them and also use existing parts to build an integrated TV stand.
Philip K.5/5Verified
Oh wow was it worth it!
I’m so happy, a simply stunning upgrade from my previous tubular gt omega rig from 2013.. GAME CHANGER
Perfect price point along with quality, reliability and quite simply, as always with gt omega, you know what you’re getting.
The Chase V2 has turned out perfect for me being 5’11 height with a timber waist size of 36. Great value as well.
And finally not to forget the free floor mat that came with it; great added value guys, thanks.
Nice.
Jonathan C.5/5Verified
After weeks of shopping around it looked like the GT omega prime light was the best choice for me, The whole rig arrived in good time, i had the odd issue with one of the free gifts but nothing major, this is my first ever simulator and I can honestly say I will never need anything else, it's brilliant and looks amazing, I spend hours in it every day, it's fully adjustable so you can make it as comfortable as you like, brilliant service from the guys always willing to help in any way, highly recommend this product.
Jon W.5/5Verified
Perfect assembly and good materials. Overall verry happy with everything
Alex D.5/5Verified
The rig itself is fantastic. Sturdy, durable and can be fully adjusted to your own personal taste. Assembling the rig was easy and quite straight forward. Customer service was also excellent seeing as the back and head pillows weren't included in the initial delivery. Just one email was enough to have it shipped and I received them fairly quickly. I can wholeheartedly recommend GT Omega for all your sim racing needs.
Robert L.5/5Verified
The Prime Lite cockpit is very solid and is honestly endgame for my needs.
As mentioned elsewhere, the assembly manual could be improved, particularly around how to attach the seat.
I purchased a GT Omega RS XL racing seat and had to look up YouTube videos on how to install it. You would think if I purchased the seat from the same company that makes the cockpit, installation would be much easier.
Lastly, international shipping to the US took about a week and all fees were covered in the shipping costs.
The seat slider package was delivered about 5 days after the rest of the package arrived, but that is no fault of GT Omega.
Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and won't be thinking about upgrades for a very long time.
Daniel G.5/5Verified
After 3 years with a ART cockpit (without any problem, very satisfied with It), I went for an upgrade and take a Prime Lite. I'm very impressed with the quality and the rigidity of the cockpit, but it's not a surprise because already with the ART I was impressed regarding the same things.
Well done GT Omega!

Decided on the Prime Lite cockpit as an upgrade to my playseat. As it turns out the timing was an absolute god send as the day after ordering I snapped my achillies, nightmare! The prime lite cockpit has allowed me to continue racing with the moveable seat allowing me to get in and out and I have been able to mount with pedals to the left snd access them easily whilst resting my bad leg.
Its a very solid rig and the seat is so comfortable. Im so pleased with it, its been a great investment already!
Guy P.5/5Verified
A great cockpit! Even for a heavier person (~140kg) like me, there is no give anywhere in the cockpit.
Good, compherensive assembly guide with pictures to make your assembly as easy as possible! Just make sure you have plenty of room around you and a table where to assemble if possible.
When assembling I suggest you 'dry-fit' the bolt with the t-nut as the threads can feel a bit rough at first.
A good amount of spare T-nuts was a great thing to notice as I did ruin threads on a few.
A good, quality product to take your racing to the next level, now just need to get the driver to same level aswell!
Matti O.5/5Verified
the cockpit is very solid and doesnt move, but if it had better instructions it would’ve been great!
Nicolò P.5/5Verified
Overall, a very good experience. I would definitely recommend it — everything went smoothly and without any issues.
Marek S.5/5Verified
Easy to build, light and feels robust! The improved caster wheels make it easy to move around.
Jean-pierre H.5/5Verified
I bought the prime lite cockpit and r5 bundle as an entry way into sim racing and what can I say! I absolutely love it, will definitely buy from omega any day of the week! Fast delivery and excellent customer service if there’s an issue. The only issue I did have was the pedal plate wouldn’t align nicely with the r5 pedals so sadly had to drill a hole to make it work. Wish this came with a universal plate for the price but other than that, it’s a fantastic bit of kit
Daniel B.5/5Verified
If you take your time you will end up with a not too bad rig. Sturdy enough to handle a Fanatec 8nm DD.
Simon B.5/5Verified
didnt use the gear/handbrake parts,
used the angles to make tv stand.
i purchased 2 x 120cm 40x40 lengths from a third party as didnt show that length in gt omegas options.
found out the the gt omega slide bolts are 2-3mm deeper and didnt fit(had to buy some from that 3rd party)
i should have emailed gt omega to find out if they can supply longer lengths than shown.
hopefully they will see this, leave a comment. for others

Great experience.
I ordered a complete new SIM rig from the cockpit through to the wheel base, wheel, pedals, chase V2 seat, and monitor mount.
There was a minor issue after ordering, but within several emails, which were all responded to and dealt with very quickly, the order was on its way within days.
Everything arrived together (10 pieces in total)
and delivery guys from DX were fantastic and friendly, no issues with bringing everything up to a top floor flat with no lifts.
Can't fault GTOmega, great service, prompt delivery and customer service was quick and efficient, albeit through email as they don't have a phone number to call.
All the items arrived in perfect condition and feels great to play on.
Would highly recommend, and will use again for any future SIM racing requirements.
Ricky S.5/5Verified
Very sturdy bit of kit.
Gary F.5/5Verified
Really good rig! You could technically improve the default pedal plate a bit since i needed to add a few new holes into it for Simjack pedals to be mountes.
Propper rig is a big help to test out maps that I make for Assetto Corsa!
Daniels B.5/5Verified
Great cockpit, very sturdy, with no flex at all and fully functional.
I'm very satisfied with the Prime Lite as well as the monitor separate stand which I will soon upgrade to support a triple monitor setup.
Stefano A.5/5Verified
I spent many weeks swinging between a prefab cockpit and an aluminium profile cockpit like the Prime Lite. Most cockpits are black or silver profile rigs, so it was a joy to see this Jimmy B edition. Yes, you could grab a spray can and do something similar, but overall, this saves you a ton of time, and the coating is fairly thick, something a spray job will not be as thick and prone to knocks/scratches during the build. The build took many hours (7-10+) to get it all right, with many seat rail adjustments to make the whole cockpit fit in my space. It's a solid rig, no wobble and plenty of customisation and changes, which I did with some spare parts, making a mouse pad/phone side table, and the long side was repurposed for the monitor mount. It's pricey, yes, but as they say in this hobby, buy once, cry once.

Everything work great!

I went from a desk, to a wheel stand, and now to the GT Omega Prime Lite Cockpit. The difference is phenomenal! This cockpit is extremely rigid because it's built like a tank! There is zero flex! Lots of room for upgrades too as it's part of the Prime eco system which is a massive win! Can't wait to have this decked out with a DD wheel etc when I'm not skint! P.s the photo just made me realise I forgot to add an end cap, not to worry, you get loads! Thank you GT Omega team!
